Our Training Programs
Are The Best In The Business
It’s not easy to qualify for the training
programs at Oil Can Henry’s. Our candidate
selection process is a rigorous one. We only accept
those people who best personify the Oil Can Henry’s
image for pride and professionalism.
Our training programs are also the most thorough in the industry. We insist
on it because these programs form the foundation for the Oil Can Henry’s
culture of superior service. Prior to being certified as
a franchisee or manager, a candidate must complete
an intensive training course in automotive principles
and procedural training on specific Oil Can Henry’s
lubrication methods. This five to six week hands-on
training course is taught at Oil Can Henry’s
University, an operating quick lube center in Portland,
Oregon, and the Oil Can Henry’s Tech Center,
where we conduct classroom instruction and personalized
training. During this time, capabilities are evaluated
and refined under the sharp eyes of experienced instructors.
Upon the successful completion of both the classroom
and on-the-job training courses, Oil Can Henry’s
graduation certificates are awarded.
After completion of the automotive theory and procedures
courses, Oil Can Henry’s managers and franchise owner-operators receive
training on all aspects of running a successful business, including day-to-day
operations, purchasing, inventory control, scheduling, financial controls,
advertising, and employee motivation.
In addition, Oil Can Henry’s provides on-site assistance
and training on a regular basis to ensure center employees are confident and
effective.
